SCC INSPIRATION – WRITING COMPETITION ON THE OCCASION OF THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF SCC

The Writing Competition “SCC Inspiration” on the occasion of the 20th Aniversary of SCC was an opportunity for the company’s staff “to open their hearts” to share with their colleagues the moments, memories, landmarks that are worth remembering during the time they have lived and worked under the same house of SCC.

1. Type of writing:
– Prose: not limited to the number of words
– Poetry: self creating
– Pictures: documentary photographies, pictures, drawings, pictures of congratulation of birthday, souvenir pictures
– Videos.

2. Competition Schedule: From May 14th to June 6th 2019

3. Eligibility to attend the Competition: All staff who worked or are working at SCC and at its member companies.

4. Instruction on participation
Step 1: Individuals who wish to attend the competition can send their work to the Organization Board via email: BTC-chuongtrinh20nam@sccvietnam.vn with the following contents:
– Headings: Article for the Writing Competition “SCC Inspiration” + Full name of the contestants (Eg. Article for the Writing Competition “SCC Inspiration”| Tran Van A)
– The email should clearly indicate the information:
Full name:……………….
Department:……………….
Job Title: ……………….
I am working (worked ) at…………….. (name of the company)
Contact phone number: ……………….
Address to receive gifts :………… (for the persons who worked at SCC and at member companies)
(If the contestants is working at SCC and at member companies) the Organization Board will send a gift to him/her at the department where he /she is working.
Step 2: After receiving the entries, the Organization Board will select and publish qualified entries on the site 20 YEARS PROGRAM- SCC

5. Requirements:
All entries (including pictures) are required to reflex the true person and stories.

Each individual may send many entries with different types (prose, poetry, photography, videos). For an entry which is published on the site, the Organization Board will present the author 01 Parker pen. However, there is only 1 permissible entry to compete for the First Prize, Sencond Prize, or the Third Prize.

Only unpublished work is eligible for this competition. The work must be created by the contestants by himself/herself and has never been published on any media, website or in other writing competition. If detectinga work violating this provision, the Organization Board will destroy the entry or/and will not approve the result of the work (if it wins any prize)

The contestants shall be solely responsible for the accurancy of the entry.

The Organization Board will have the right to use entries,which will be published on the media of SCC.

– Second Prize: 01 iPad 9.7 2018 Wi-Fi 128 GB
– Third Prize: 01 Sports wach Garmin forerunner 235

Encouragement Prize: The authors whose works are selected to be published on the site will be presented 01 Parker Galaxy Red Stainless Gold RP PK 500 pen- inscribed with the exclusive words about the 20 Years’ Anniversay of the Date of the Establishment of SCC.

7. Assessment criteria
All writing artiles will be assessed as follows
★ 50% of the scores: based on the judgement by the Organization Board, namely:
– Work which is original, meaningful, shows cleary the contents, thought, purpose of the competition.
– Work which gives prominence to the cultural tradition of SCC and member companies.
– Work which tranmiss a mission of friendship and unity among the staff.
★ 50% of the scores: based on the comments and selection by the members in the group. Calculation: 1 like = 1 score, 1 comments = 2 scores.
Note:
– The contestants may make comments to tag his/her friends to select his /her work; however, this comment will not be calculated as a score.
– Any comment containing an icon will not be considered.
