“Mid-Autumn Festival for Children 2022” is a series of volunteer activities organized by the Military Radio and Television Center in collaboration with others and sponsors. The program includes many activities such as health examination, free medicine distribution, Mid-Autumn festival, traditional Mid-Autumn specialties party, gifts and scholarships for students.

In order to bring a warm Mid-Autumn festival to children in remote border areas, Charity Club Warm With Love gave 1,000 lanterns to children in Pa U commune, Muong Te district, one of the most remote and difficult communes of Lai Chau province.
On September 5th-7th, 2022, representatives of the Charity Club Warm With Love and the organizers crossed a long distance, spent hours on the ocean to reach the most remote places of Phu Quoc island, Tho Chu island in Kien Giang province and directly gave 1,000 lanterns to children on these 2 islands.

The children can participate in the music festival, meet Ms. Hang, Uncle Cuoi, watch the performances of music, circus, magic show, eat traditional Mid-Autumn specialties, watch the moon; receive gifts and toys for Mid-Autumn Festival. Many games were enthusiastically responded by children in the bustling atmosphere of vibrant and impressive musical shows by performers from Ho Chi Minh City and from Military Region 9.
The Mid-Autumn Festival night was attended by a large number of children, soldiers and people on the island.
In the program “Mid-Autumn Festival for children 2022”, the Charity Club Warm With Love announced to award 5 scholarships to 5 excellent students with difficult circumstances currently residing in Tho Chu and Phu Quoc islands. Each student receives a scholarship for around 7 years, estimating for 3 years of high school and at least 4 years of university. The total estimated funding budget is currently at VND 2,700,000,000. In addition, the Club also supports tuition fees and monthly living expenses in 1 year for 4 other disadvantaged students with a total support cost of nearly 100,000,000 VND to help them have better study conditions.
