SCC COMPANY IMPLEMENTS CAMPAIGN OF PANDEMIC PREVENTION FOR ALL EMPLOYEES AND SUPPORT COMMUNITY IN OVERCOMING COVID-19

Facing the complicated crisis of the Covid-19, from the early days, SCC Company has actively implemented measures to prevent disease, protect the health of all employees as well as join hands with the whole country to support community through the pandemic.

Responding to the Government’s policies for prevention of coronavirus (nCoV), the Board of Directors of the Company called on all employees to implement seriously the State’s policies in disease prevention.

In order to prevent the risk of Covid-19 disease infection, to ensure safety for employees and public health, SCC’s Board of Directors soon implemented many practical measures to join hands with the whole country to prevent epidemics.

Basically, SCC has urgently promoted the propagation to all employees about recommending 12 immediate actions of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee – HCMC Steering Committee for prevention and control of acute respiratory infection caused by the new strain of coronavirus; guided employees to wash their hands properly; distributed handbooks on questions and answers about disease-related issues; equipped with hand-sanitizer at each working floor; presented facemasks to all employees; required seriously 100% of employees coming to the office to wear facemask, wash hands often with soap and disinfectant solution. Any customer or partner who comes to transact at the Company and does not wear facemask will be encouraged to use a facemask by the employees to wear facemask during the working process. In addition, SCC Company also equips infrared thermometers to regularly monitor the health status of employees, guides employees to make a comprehensive medical declaration.

To enhance the effectiveness of disease prevention, the Board of Directors directs the organization of online meetings; divide the groups to have lunch, ensure a safe distance… At the same time, improve hygiene, disinfect regularly table, kitchen utensils, canteen area, equipment, working tools…

Facing outbreaks and increasingly complicated situation, the company has enabled all employees to work from home and only 50% of the time working at the company to respond to the Government’s call for social isolation to join hands in fighting against Covid-19.

In particular, the Board of Directors promptly instructed the purchase of Corona Guard Insurance of MIC Thang Long Insurance Company for all employees as soon as the disease spread. Specifically, employees will be entitled to hospitalization allowances and death benefits due to Covid-19. The insurance package applies from March 30, 2020 to June 30, 2020. Along with other welfare regimes, the purchase of insurance for employees demonstrates the profound and very caring concern of the Company’s Board of Directors to the health and life of employees during the pandemic.

In an effort to prevent and prevent the disease from the Company’s Board of Directors, each SCC employee is also aware of the risk of the disease spread, so he proactively takes many measures to enhance the resistance, protect his health and community. With the funding collected from employees, SCC’s Board of Directors and affiliates as well as from other donors, the club has organized many programs to spread the spirit of solidarity, ” The leaves protect tattered ones” such as: Supporting 10 million VND for teachers and students of Dr. Dao Anh Quang – Hue Industrial College to prepare hand-sanitizer for free to people; donating 1,000 antibacterial facemasks and 100 liters of hand-sanitizer to people in Vinh Phuc province; support 300 million VND to buy fresh water and tanks for people in Khanh Lam commune, U Minh district, Ca Mau province; donating antibacterial and water resistant cloth to people in Dam Doi district, Ca Mau province, sewing 2,500 facemasks, donated 200 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in the prevention and control of Covid-19; gave two tons of rice in April 2020 for the poor to share the difficulties to overcome Covid-19.
